Antimicrobial resistance and its global spread
On World Health Day, April 7, 2011, the World Health Organization is launching a global campaign about the spread of antimicrobial resistance. Antimicrobial resistance is a worldwide problem that limits the effectiveness of antibiotics in treating serious and life-threatening infections.
