Assisted Living Program
This section includes information which should be helpful for persons residing in assisted living, their caregivers, and families. These activities were developed to raise awareness about the importance of handwashing in a group setting where many objects are shared. Proper handwashing is important as it reduces the need for antibiotics and has an impact on antimicrobial resistance.
This section includes tips on presenting to seniors, and what to expect when you go to an assisted living facility. Although this program appears to be focused on seniors, the content applies to any adult living in a group setting.
